Monty Python deleted and Unused scenes

I have been a Monty Python fan for over 30 years now and thought I’d seen and watched every Monty Python clip that was ever filmed. I was wrong ! Only recently did I come across a couple of clips which I had never seen before. These Monty python deleted and unused scenes are very interesting and I’d love to know why some of them never got included in the films. ( If anyone knows, please let use know).I shared these scenes on our Facebook page and I was supprised that hardly anybody had seen these deleted scenes like me.

So I thought I’d put together a collection of all the Monty Python deleted and unused scenes I could find on youtube and share them with you all. There are some incredible scenes, some I can see why they wasn’t used, but some defiantly should have been included. Why they never got used is not known. Maybe it was a financial cost?, maybe political? Who know’s, but my favourite is the Shepard’s talking about Lambs. Very funny! Here’s all the scenes I could find.

Mr Creosote- Deleted Scene.

This scene of MR CREOSOTE from the film Monty Pythons Meaning of Life was never used in the film.

Listen to the lyrics he sings…I love my fat, my fat loves me. When we’re together we’re as big as three. When we go walking we bob and weave. We shake and jiggle, and then we leave.” Why was this never used? Some consider the part where he explodes one of the most shocking parts in the movie.

Check out the wheels for feet, how would he get up the stairs? Whatever the reason it wasn’t used we love this and we love MR CREOSOTE.

Monty Python’s The Meaning of Life, also known as The Meaning of Life, is a 1983 British musical sketch comedy film written and performed by the Monty Python troupe, directed by Terry Jones. It was the last film to feature all six Python members before Graham Chapman’s death in 1989.

Terry Gilliam’s deleted animations

This video includes an introduction from Terry Giliiam to his lost animation reel where he talks about where the artwork came from and the inspiration behind some of the animation, music by Neil Innes that didn’t make it into the final cut, new animations and deleted animations of ‘The Tale of Sir Robin’, ‘Elephant & Castle’, ‘Meanwhile, King Arthur & Sir Bedevere…’, ‘Run Away!’ and ‘The Tale of Sir Lancelot’.

Did you love the animations? Whether you loved them or not you have to appreciate the amount of time and skill that goes into the making of these amazing pieces of art.

It was also directed by Jones. Otto the zionist jewish supremacist!

A deleted scene from Monty Python’s Life of Brian. Can you imagine putting this on TV today!

Monty Python always walked on the edge of Political correctness and tried to push the boundaries in everything they did. Was this clip a bit too far? Was this why they left it out, or was it just not as funny as other clips?. I’m not sure, but with all the Monty Python scenes you haven’t to take them too seriously or to heart. Leave comments why you think this was left out.

Flying Circus deleted scene

A Short sketch that was originally part of the “Hell’s Grannies” sketch from Series 1 Episode 8. This sketch was cut from the broadcast episode, presumably for timing reasons.

Adventures of Martin Luther-Deleted scene

This scene was deleted from the film Monty Python Meaning of Life. At first, only an off-screen voice can be heard while Martin Luther (Terry Jones) is running frantically around. This scene was never used in the UK released film however is was part of its own small film in the German version.

Life of Brian deleted scenes

A couple of scenes from the classic flm that did not make the final cut. Featuring the suicide squad. The part in the Suicide squad scene where someone farts reminds me of the ‘ Bring out your dead ‘ scene in The holy Grail.

We think this is one of the best Monty Python deleted and unused scenes.
